My “Meridian” series of works on paper incorporate drawing, ink, and collages of maps. These maps show human imposed routes and borders that define our contemporary world, while the cuts and tears in the compositions suggest fractured boundaries. Thus, alluding to the fact that despite human efforts to control our world; political strife, disease and climatic conditions continue to upend these efforts.
